Delta Ditch Run

This year's Delta Ditch Run wasn't one for the record books (the 1998 edition still holds that distinction). But there was plenty of fun to be had in the 65-mile race from Richmond to Stockton, co-sponsored by Richmond Yacht Club and Stockton Sailing Club. SSC's Jim Hachman reports that the fastest monohull was the Melges 24, Looper, finishing in 7:09:47 and the fastest multihull was Flux, a Seacart 30, which completed the course in 5:58:45. The top five boats on corrected time were all Moore 24s, with William Erkelens and Flying Circus scoring the top spot (again).
