sss anything goes north bay raceApril 22, 2023 The Singlehanded Sailing Society invented a unique race. Though a race for singlehanders, "ghosts" were allowed. Ghosts could tag along for safety, for companionship, for getting the boat to and from the racecourse, for snack service and DJ duty. They just couldn't touch any sailing controls during actual racing. It was an interesting concept! The 19-mile course was different from anything we'd seen before too; some experienced racers didn't quite figure it out. A surprisingly strong and persistent flood current added to the challenge.
