solo three bridge fiascoJanuary 30, 2021 Because of the COVID lockdown, the Singlehanded Sailing Society reconfigured this year's Three Bridge Fiasco to be singlehanded only, and they capped the registration at 125. Lo and behold — they maxed out in 24 hours! A waiting list formed. Light air and pleasant sunshine dominated the conditions, until later in the afternoon when a massive ebb ramped up and fortunately a breeze filled in too. Around 80 boats made it around the three rounding marks and back to the finish in front of Golden Gate Yacht Club. As soon as the results are parsed, they'll appear on Jibeset. Have patience — the race committee had to operate shorthanded as well. Please visit our store to order a high-resolution image or print. Play Quicktime Slideshow Play Quicktime Slideshow
