Who would have thought that the most exciting race of spring on San Francisco Bay would be a plain ol' beer can race? After a three-month drought of sanctioned racing in the region, Richmond Yacht Club's humble Wednesday night race brought shouts of joy and shivers of pleasure based mostly on the virtue of being the first.
