Berkeley Yacht Club hosts separate Midiwnter Series on Saturday and Sunday the second weekend of the month, November-February. In January, a brisk easterly and mostly sunny skies dominated conditions on Saturday; on Sunday "The wind came from everywhere — twice," according to Express 27 skipper Will Paxton, and the weather was overcast and chilly.
