20th Singlehanded TransPac StartJuly 2, 2016 The Singlehanded TransPac started off the Corinthian Yacht Club race deck in Tiburon with windy conditions, partly foggy skies and plenty of Bay chop. Most boats were reefed at the start, some deeply. Once out on the ocean, the sailors reported 10 knots of breeze from the southwest, no sea swell, and, as has been the norm this year, lots of whales.
