On a day when some other Bay Area races and sailing events were canceled due to a foreboding forecast, Golden Gate Yacht Club got in their last Midwinter race in before a gale kicked up a storm. Congratulations to Hank Easom and crew on the 8-Meter Yucca, who won the Manuel Fagundes Seaweed Soup cup (again). Hank actually knew Manny, for whom the trophy is named.
