Windy Westpoint Regatta

The YRA's second 'Weekend Regatta' of the 2016 season was sailed in a brisk breeze (up to 24 knots), with a start near Treasure Island, a one-tack beat to YRA mark #24 (aka Red 6) east of Angel Island, a rounding of Alcatraz, and a reach/run down past the Bay and San Mateo Bridges to a finish off Redwood City. Parties bracketed the race, with the Pre-Race Reception Party at Epic Steak in San Francisco the night before, and the Island Time Party at Sequia Yacht Club the night of.
