Jazz Cup

The Jazz Cup was sailed in very light air this year. Although these photos were taken between the Brothers and the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge, with the boats sailing from the main Bay to Benicia, normally a downwind section of the race, note the lack of the usual spinnakers. Grant Harless's J/29Bay Loon won the Jazz Cup for Benicia Yacht Club; William Cook's F-24 Wings won the Multihull Jazz Cup, also for Benicia. Winning Monohull Overall was David Krausz and Craig Watson's Ultimate 20 Salsa. First to finish the 26-mile course was Bill Erkelens' D-Class cat Adrenaline at 16:31.
