One of the endearing institutions of the Santa Cruz sailing lifestyle is the Wednesday Night Race. The course is simple and no Sailing Instructions are needed. Start just outside the harbor off the stern of the rabbit boat and go around some government marks and back again. First boat back into the harbor gets the cannon and wins. Beers and a BBQ end it all in style.
