Windy Wednesday
May 30, 2013 One of the endearing institutions of the Santa Cruz sailing lifestyle is the Wednesday Night Race. The course is simple and no Sailing Instructions are needed. Start just outside the harbor off the stern of the rabbit boat and go around some government marks and back again. First boat back into the harbor gets the cannon and wins. Beers and a BBQ end it all in style. Hobnobbing with the not so rich and famous before heading out. Santa Cruz stalwarts attending last night included Skip Allen, Howard Spruit and Bill Lee. ©2013 norcalsailing.com
Thanks to the crew of the Olson 40 Outrageous for making room for our photographers on this week's race.
