The hot and thirsty crews in Corinthian Yacht Club's Friday night beer can race on July 25 might indeed have quaffed a lot of the eponymous brews – they were certainly swooning in the heat wave – except that once they escaped Belvedere Cove, the Slot delivered the typical breeze and then some! Foulies were quickly piled on over shorts and tank tops and some toughed out their big jibs for wild rides.
