Pillar Point Harbor in Princeton on Half Moon Bay isn’t really big enough for a full-on boat parade. But sailboats, motoryachts, liveaboards and fishing boats all got in the spirit of the season with their 22nd annual ‘Harbor Lights’ contest on Saturday night, sponsored by Half Moon Bay Yacht Club and Pillar Point Harbor. After walking the docks to admire the decorations, guests filed over to the YC for awards presented by the harbormaster and supper. We’re not sure who won, but the prize for that lucky skipper is a month’s free berthing!

The following day, Sunday, HMBYC held the first of their midwinter season races for Lasers, Coronado 15s and Cal 20s. The series continues on January 17, February 21 and March 21.
