Sail a Small Boat Day

March 5, 2012

Once a year the Richmond Yacht Club invites sailors and potential new sailors to Sail a Small Boat Day. This year was a light affair as in light winds and light attendance compared to previous years, but those who came had fun and were able to try out several different designs and enjoy ample sunshine.

Windrider Tango
Introducing the WindRider Tango. Although it looks like a Hobie designed by Dr. Seuss, it actually sailed fine in the light breeze. ©2012 norcalsailing.com

Paddle Boards
It was a perfect day to try out a paddleboard, if you don't mind the lack of waves. This was the first year they were at Sail a Small Boat Day. ©2012 norcalsailing.com
